We talked at the dinner Harvey and Jennifer Peyton hosted for artists visiting from Philadelphia. I invited you to give the invocation for a UC Builders book and author luncheon at which Denise Giardina will be our speaker. The luncheon will be Wednesday, March 28th and I hope you are still able to join us. Please let me know. The talk should be interesting and it will include a reading from Denise’s new play.
I found your site on The Affrilachian Poets, I am a film make in Pasadena, Ca. I’d like to read more of your poems or short stories. I am looking for a new short story or poem to turn into a screenplay.
Please just email me your address at crystaldawngood@gmail.com and pay $10 via paypal @crystaldawngood. I know, I know.. it’s awkward ordering process but I’m working on that. Thank you Joanna.
Dear Crystal,
we are interested in bringing you as a visiting artist to East Carolina University. I am not sure of the best way to contact you outside of this website – please let me know! Thanks for your time, Lisa Beth Robinson (robinsonli@ecu.edu).
Fighting mountaintop removal…interested in quantum physics…a mountain lady in West Virginia…you amaze me! I’m just about to publish a novel (think of a multi-thread, pro-green Atlas Shrugged with ghosts, aliens, and a mythical curse) that centers on an outspoken brown-eyed brunette named Cassandra (her sister’s name is Crystal!) who’s battling strip-mining for gold in Colorado, who explores quantum physics to better grasp metaphysics, and who loves hiking, Nature, and exploring her mind. Finding you feels like an affirmation that’s telling me the planet has hope–it must if you exist in the flesh and blood & not only my imagination!
I attended your reading at Marshall University earlier this month and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I am also currently taking an Appalachian Literature course at the university and as part of the course I am making a research guide for students researching Affrilachian heritage. I was wondering if I could use you as a featured writer on the guide, as well as posting the link to your website. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
